SouthernLINC Wireless is a subsidiary of Southern Company and provides wireless two-way dispatch, phone, short messaging and packet data services. SouthernLINC Wireless uses Motorola's digital SMR technology known as iDEN. Alabama Power, Georgia Power, Gulf Power, Mississippi Power and Savannah Electric are other subsidiaries of Southern Company that you may recognize. All of these companies are currently customers of SouthernLINC Wireless.

SouthernLINC Wireless has operated this 800 MHz commercial iDEN system statewide in Alabama, Georgia and portions of Florida and Mississippi since early in 1996. Currently we have over 282,000 customers serviced by 560 cell sites across 127,000 square miles.

We would like the opportunity to partner with you in the event your communication plans include the deployment of an iDEN system. We feel that we may be able to offer access to our network elements and experience and in turn lower your cost to enhance and deploy your own iDEN network.
